1. Form to be completed and submitted at least 14 days in advance of event, where possible, or 2 days prior to some events (e.g. Fatiha Program).
2. The board reseves the right to cancel the usage of the centre at any given time.
3. To use the centre for a recurring event, kindly contact the secretariat directly at secretariat@almahdicentre.org

The fee charged to use the Centre to cover the overhead costs and cleaning expenses are as follows:
Registered Member in Good Standing (one who has completed a membership application form and whose membership fees are paid up to date)- $150.00
Non-Registered Member or Registered Member NOT in Good Standing - $400.00

AV Charge: $80
The use of the Centre's Audiovisual equipment (microphone, speaker, projector, computer) is prohibited. If you require an AV team member, they will be provided for an additional fee for the event.
Cleaning Fee: $100
A cleaner will be hired if you cannot clean after your event. Please add this fee to your payment if you cannot clean the centre and return it to its original condition for any reason. Please read the policies for expectations around Centre use.
The User agrees that the Almehdi Almuntathar Union (the “AMAMU”), their Board, Officers and Members, shall not be responsible for any and all damages, injuries or liabilities which may arise as a result of the User’s use or activity in or on the property of the AMAMU. The User shall fully indemnify and hold harmless the AMAMU, their Board, Officers and Members against any and all such damages, injuries or liabilities. The User agrees to pay to the AMAMU all costs that may be incurred by them in repairing any damages, which may be caused by the User, his/her contractors, workers, agents or guests in the course of use of AMAMU property under such rental. The AMAMU, their Board, Officers and Members shall not be responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged items left in or on AMAMU property prior to, during or after a function. All of the above is applicable to ALL persons brought to/making use of the facilities under this agreement, and it is the responsibility of the User to inform the persons brought to the facilities by him/her of the above rules and regulations. The User shall assume and undertake FULL responsibility for his/her function and those attending the facilities during his/her function.
There will normally be no events or functions on the same day as a Centre program.
I agree that private usage of the Centre is subject to approval of the Board of Directors of AMAMU.
Event Conduct
I agree that any woman or man attending will adhere to Islamic attire. Women should wear appropriately covered clothing and a head cover. Tank tops for men and shorts above the knees are also prohibited.
I agree there will be no music or dancing is permitted.
I agree that private usage of the Centre is subject to approval of the Board of Directors of AMAMU.
I agree to abide by the start and end time indicated on my form (including preparation and clean-up)
I agree to respect the Centre's rules and regulations, recognizing that this is a holy site and house of God. I will adhere to Islamic principles (specifically Jaffari School of thought) while using the Centre.
Use of Kitchen/Volunteers/AV System:
The kitchen area will only be used to prepare and store food.
You must supply and bring your own condiments, tea/coffee, paper plates, cups, napkins, utensils, and food.
You may use the metal and reusable items in the kitchen. These must be cleaned after use.
Volunteer arrangements are the responsibility of the event holder
The use of Audiovisual equipment (sound system, microphone, projector, cables, computer, etc.) is prohibited. If you require these services, please add the AV services required to your booking.
No livestreaming of any private events is allowed. This includes private majalis.
Cleaning, Use of Furniture, and Decor
I agree that if I have not chosen to pay for cleaning services, I will clean the Centre immediately after the program and leave it in the same state that was provided to me.
All chairs, tables, and equipment moved during the event or function will be returned to their original position and condition.
Furniture, equipment, and materials brought into the Centre for temporary use must be removed at the end of the event. The centre does not provide decor items.
I agree that if I use the Centre’s cleaning equipment (vacuum, brooms, mops etc), to clean the Centre, they will be used with care and returned to their respective storage locations after use.
Garbage and recycling must be removed and taken to the Garbage and Recycling Bins in the Parking Lot at the end of the event.
All parking regulations of the Centre must be obeyed
NO candles, open flames, or other hazardous devices during my event.
NO nails, push-pins, or highly adhesive tape on the walls for any purpose.
NO smoking or vaping inside the building.
I acknowledge and agree that the centre will pass on to me payment for any charges for damages incurred, including but not limited to extensive cleaning, audio/video system, broken chairs and/or tables, etc., following the event.
